Tsunagari Farm

About Tsunagari Farm

Tsunagari Farm is run by us, a family unit, who plant things which we want to eat ourselves for the year. We love eating! We plant what we want to eat in the field and we make snacks and pickles from what the earth gives us. We hope to be fun-loving farmers!
Our wish is that all we touch will be the happy circle filled with joy and happiness.
We will deliver and want to deliver the very best to you from the bottom of our hearts!
Only weed compost is used in Tsunagari Farm! Our family plants vegetables throughout the year!

Soil grows food! Enriched healthy food comes from enriched soil. Not with any agricultural chemicals, we use we use home made weed compost for fertilizer by pulling out weeds from the roots, sprinkle rice bran and then ferment them. We don't use herbicides either. We plant our favorite vegetables of the season.

Seasonal Best

There are seasons for the plants, what our bodies need is different in every season. The soil has seasons, too. We want to put the seasons into our consideration. In other words, we want to bring out the soil's seasonal best. That's why we grow the vegetables in an open field, and not in a green house.

Growing different Beans!

We love beans! Because we like them so much, we ended up growing many kinds of beans as well as soybeans. Especially red beans are well used in mame daifuku mochi cake and anmitsu, sweet bean agar-agar with fruits. Soybeans are made into powder, tofu, soy milk, natto, soy sauce, miso, tofu extract byprodacts, and so on and on.

All that grow from the ground are our treasures!

We don't use any agricultural chemicals, but use home made weed compost which is made from the weeds we pull out from the roots, sprinkle rice bran on them and ferment them. We also use rice husks and rice-husk coals.

We cherish the seasonal best of weeds, vegetables, beans and soil.

Please try our farms seasonable best! Our wish is to offer your favorite goods in best condition. Also, we hope that you will introduce them to your loved ones as one of the yummiest things in Tokushima for our encouragement, too.
